this is my pictures page, my story page is: not quite alive

This, of course, is an artwork page. It's not just any artwork page, it happens to be mine. Well, page for my art of a pokemon TF nature, anyway. Originally I considered 'Hey, why don't I make a site for this?' before discovering I couldn't.. actually.. be bothered. Not for just myself, anyway.
So I gave up the idea, and went on to become lord of a universe or two. (ie, take up writing.) Eventually, I stumbled here; some of the lore regarding morphs didn't fit my picture themes, or indeed my story themes, but this doesn't really matter. Art is art; and that which is pokemon TF is, in however many respects.. pokemon TF.

So, if you're reading this, you're either Jim, or you've decided that the guy with the nickname that looks like it was spewed up randomly (and it was) deserves to have his art viewed, either out of reputation or (as is most likely) out of the simple fact that this guy has a nickname that looks like it was spewed up randomly. I should probably give prior warning, though; I am, in fact, a writer. This may not sound like much of a warning, but actually it's to pre-empt the fact that I am a writer who, on the offdays, pretends to be an artist. However, the artwork on this page isn't pretend, it's actually pretty real. Whether this is a good thing or not is up to you.

On the first version of this page, Jim presented me as "A very contorted person, he specializes with mental struggles/anguish people go through TFs. Now that i'd want his confidence up to draw...". Actually, I specialize in the action of the TF and I let the rest worry about itself, and my confidence is fine, it's just I possess a sense of what is good regarding my art. And anything I drew 3 years ago is not likely to fit that bill, so the only thing that goes here is new stuff! You'd thank me for that if you had access to my old art, but of course, you don't. Woo. Enough with my text, go scroll down and look at some art.

Ah, like a good portion of PKM artists/writers, they use the term "Pokemorph" for Hybrid and Morph, but Takiyas is a TF fan... so I can let that slide for awhiles. I think. Ah read on for someone who took the time for HTMLing. x.x

Ratings and Categories and Misc. ('oh my'?):
Despite living in the UK, I'm going to use possibly the most simple rating system ever, based around the ESRB one.
E - Suitable for everyone, and their dogs.
T - Probably suitable for everyone who should be on this page. This is the lowest rating I give TFs, for some reason.
M - Generally the rating given to particularly violent pictures, or those with implied (but tasteful) nudity.
X - Um. Unless something impossible happens, you're never going to see an image with this rating. Really. I don't draw them.

Newest Pictures - Were added the last time this page was updated.
In Progress - Are being worked on as of the last time this page updated.
TF Pictures - Either singles or sequences, this is art where something transforms, hence 'TF'. :)
Pokemorph Pictures - Likely to be singles, these pics are just images of 'morphs.

I'm going to note here that I don't quite follow Jim's line of categorizing, since I use the term 'pokemorph' interchangeably between PKHs and PKMs. It's how I've always done it, and my pictures bear no real difference whether they are one or the other anyway. As a general rule of thumb, TF pictures are generally PKH, while normal morph pictures are just that; PKM. There's a few exceptions, but of course, you won't know that, since my art has no way to show it otherwise. It's a case of simplicity more than anything. Thanks for understanding. :D

Newest Pictures - 10th September 2003
T 27th June 2003

Tati: Vaporeon-morph TF single picture. This is the first colour I've completed in a while, although it took ages because I didn't ink first. I thought I could get the thickness of the liens away by just penciling and then using mad scanner/Photoshop tricks to get lines anyway. It didn't work. Pity.

Jim: o.o Best work to date man. Heh, do you realize you're a sequence artist? n.n  Ah, yes, the date was when I first got it. See the laziness?
In Progress
T Tati: Dewgong-morph TF single picture. Or at least, it will be when I'm finished. Currently, this picture is one of two on a very unclean newly scanned document page. This will change soon.

Jim: Soon, soon...
T Tati: Lapras-morph TF single picture. It's the second of two as mentioned previously, which is kinda obvious seeing as these are the only two in production. They were on the same sheet as the Vaporeon, and.. no prizes for guessing the common theme.

TF Single/Sequence Pictures
T 19th June 2003

Tati: Eevee TF sequence, and the first I ever did. Woo. Unfortunately, it shows, as those of you with good eyesight can point out. Still, you can tell which picture I spent the most useful time on. That was originally going to be a single, but I decided to try adding stages; the guy goes transgender as well, and it wasn't exactly obvious, so I decided to try and make it so. Success.. nah, but it was a good first try.

Jim: You think it sucks. I say it's better than what I can draw so far.
Pokemorph Single Pictures
E 4th June 2003

Tati: Lugia-morph and a female human. Of course, to have them both in the same picture is impossible, since the girl is a shapechanger and the Lugia is the result. I like this, although I'd be one of the only ones; I'm quite lousy at wings generally. There's about a dozen things that don't work between the two, but it doesn't matter anyway. A character from an RP. Yay for role-play.

Jim: And hooray for responsible... ah if you get that... x_x
E 18th May 2003

Tati: Kichigai, a rather nice Raichu-morph. Not my character, this pic is my half of a trade that may or may not have a reply, but at least I drew it anyway. I've drawn this character once before (old art; note the 2 in the filename) and this one is better. The player commented on the hair and loves the feet. Meanwhile, I'm happy with them and the style of face; it's not a usual product from me.

Jim: Funny, sentence before the last should be my line...
T 14th March 2003

Tati: Paperclip, an unhappily disfigured Pidgeot-morph that's pretty much forced itself (yes, -it-self) into autism. As a neuter, it doesn't really have much to say about other people, but it thinks they're all 'nice', just like the other million things in the world.
A character of mine on PMMush, a rather fun place to RP.

Jim: No RPGs and Soda make Jimmy co crazy.
T 1st January, 2003

Tati: Meet Heather. Heather is a strange Eevee. Precisely 15 minutes before the new year, she somehow acquired a plentiful amount of alcohol from the bottle. At least 15 minutes later, she'd somehow become a 'veemorph. Now it happens whenever she drinks, which explains why she's now an alcoholic. One of those weird characters you never expect to make up; exists in no set universe really, but makes for a nice little picture. And the hair is rather nice.

Jim: n.n Cuddle the drunk.
M 28th November, 2002

Tati: Once upon a time, there was a girl named Kaitsu Thompson. Kaitsu had some incurable disease or other. A company dabbling in psychic potential possessed a mew who saw her plight, and decided to assist - in his own special way. After that, things really started going odd, especially when the young girl became the representation of Fate/Destiny. She's not very happy to be an immortal, either, considering her father is who-knows-where and all of her children from the mew stages disappeared. Slightly twisted storyline, but she's probably the purest character I have.

Jim: It still doesn't make sense how a crying Mew PKH shoots herself in the head stays alive... must be some hell of a high level to take that much damage. Warning, violent piccie.
E 10th August 2002

Tati: Salissa, the Eevee-morph. A character of an OOC character that I made up for no real reason, called Sal. Salissa is just a 'veemorph that ended up with wings because, as we all know, lots of things happen when you talk carelessly about angel-demon mews. This doesn't matter as such, really. Can be pretty bitter, but mostly is found surviving; her attitude can sometimes make people a little annoyed. It's all in a good nature, though.

Jim: Goodness, looks cute in a bad-ass way.
E 12th July 2002

Tati: Might have been an alt for PMM, but didn't quite make it. DaggerQ is a rather confused masochistic Nyuura. She is not at all content with what she is, even now; she was not treated so well in early years. To be honest, I don't remember too much about her, it's been a while. Yes, that's a roll of tape around her wrist. Yes, I do love the outfit. Wouldn't you like an outfit like that? Even if you wouldn't wear it?

Jim: Good, called it a Nyuura instead of the stupid American name..
E 26th June 2002

Tati: Switch, the Umbreon-morph. Another alt that didn't quite make PMM. Switch is another born on the Isle, and as such is a free spirit, quite simply. Is a fan of speed, and possesses a motorcycle, as well as a decently sized mechanics shop somewhere north. Business is not terribly good, so she also exists as an 'all-goods trading services', where you can get anything for anything else. Indeed, she's quite charismatic and has a way with people, simply because of her benign nature and her honesty. Does have a tendency to procrastinate and play around a little too often, though.
